ORNL’s Simpson Elected Fellow of National Academy of Inventors

Simpson has published more than 160 refereed journal papers, and has been awarded 35 patents.

Michael L. Simpson, a Corporate Fellow researcher at the Department of Energy’s Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), has been elected fellow of the National Academy of Inventors (NAI).   The NAI fellows selection committee and board of directors cited Simpson for “a highly prolific spirit of innovation in creating or facilitating outstanding inventions that have made a tangible impact on quality of life, economic development, and the welfare of society.”   Named an ORNL Corporate Fellow in ...
